Dublin's Talking Sport with Ken Doherty

Former snooker world champion and soccer mad Ken Doherty presents his own two hour show on Dublin's Sunshine 106.8. Dublin's Talking Sport is on every Saturday morning from 8-10am.

Every week Ken will have a soccer legend on his show and you are welcome to take part.

We want to hear from fans of Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool, Everton, Chelsea, Arsenal, Wolves, Newcastle, Stoke, Wigan, Aston Villa,West Brom, Fulham, Spurs or any of the other Premier League clubs.

About Ken
Ken Doherty is an Irish professional snooker player. He is the only player ever to have been world amateur (1989) and world professional champion (1997). He was also World Under-21 champion in 1989.

Doherty works on snooker matches with the BBC snooker coverage team. He became a regular commentator for the BBC starting with the 2009 Masters Tournament, He has also presented Europa League soccer matches on 3e, TV3's sister station.

Ken is a Manchester United fan and he paraded his trophy at Old Trafford in front of 55,000 spectators following his World Championship triumph.

Doherty currently represents Irish poker site 'VCPoker.ie', appearing on radio commercials, and regularly playing in tournaments where the players on the site receive a bonus for knocking him out.
