Everything You Need To Know Before Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Dublin

Here's everything you need to know ahead of the Eras Tour in Dublin: starting times, transport, the set list and prohibited items

Swifties across the country are getting ready for the American superstars performance this weekend. The concerts are being held in Dublin's Aviva Stadium on Friday the 28th, Saturday the 29th and Sunday the 30th. Over 500,000 people registered for tickets to the highly anticipated concert and each night will see about 60,000 fans in attendance.

Doors open at 5pm and supporting act Paramore will take to the stage around 6pm. Swift is set to start performing between 7pm and 8pm. Attendees are encouraged to get to the venue 45 minutes before the show starts at 6pm.

Swifties are known for camping outside venues and queuing at all hours of the morning just for a chance to get a good spot. However, concert organisers have stressed that there is strictly no camping and early queuing permitted at the Aviva Stadium.

Getting there and back:

The Eras Tour is not the only event on this weekend, as Pride, Longitude, Fairview Park gigs and the All-Ireland Football Quarter Final are all set to take place throughout Dublin.

Swifties are strongly advised to organise their transport far in advance and to allow themselves 3 hours of travel before and after the show. Organisers are also recommending that fans walk, cycle or take public transport instead of cars.

There are five colour coded routes to enter the venue, choose the one most convenient for where you are seated in the venue:

Blue Route - The Shelbourne Rd Entrance (For West Stand Upper)

By Train: Take a southbound Dart and get off at Grand Canal Dock. Exit the station and turn right onto Barrow St and continue onto Shelbourne Rd.

By Bus: Take a bus (4, 7, 7a)  to Northumberland Rd or Pembroke Rd.

Orange Route - Lansdown Lane Entrance (For West Stand Lower)

Red Route - Bath Avenue Entrance (For Gold Circle)

By Train: Take a southbound Dart and get off at Grand Canal Dock. Exit the station and turn right onto Barrow St then left onto Grand Canal St, and left onto Bath Avenue.

By Bus: Take a bus (47, C1, C2) to Ringsend/Irishtown.

There will be extra Dart services in operation both before and after the concert. Though it is important to note that Grand Canal Dock Station will be closed after the concert due to security issues.

There will also be a special late train service for any intercity travellers. At 12:40am after every show there is a train from Heuston to Cork with a connection to Limerick. However this service must be booked in advance.

The Dublin Bus routes 1, 4, 7, 7a, 38, 38a, 47, C1 and C2 all serve the Aviva Stadium.

As well as this there are many private coaches offering services to and from the concert. Travel Master, Irish Concert Travel, Concertbus.ie, BusesToConcerts.com, JJ Kavanagh, Matthews Coaches, Halpenny Travel, East Coast Coaches and even Belfast City Sightseeing are all offering services to the Aviva though tickets will need to be purchased in advance.
