An Bord Pleanala has turned down planning permission for eight apartment blocks at Cornelscourt village in south Dublin, containing 452 build-to-rent apartments.
The development also included an apartment block that would stand 12 storeys high, as well as 10 semi-detached homes and six bungalows along with a cafe and restaurant.
The planning application faced 80 objections from local residents and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council .
