A new government will be formed after the Green Party voted to join a coalition with Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil.
Micheál Martin will be elected Taoiseach and head of an historic coalition.
The combined party memberships voted more than 3 to 1 in favour of the deal.
It marks the official end of civil war politics as Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil come together.
