This crash happened at around half 4 yesterday afternoon at Cabinteely on the N11.
An ambulance that was carrying a patient and on it's way to hospital collided with a car at the Clonkeen Road junction.
The Irish Independent reports four people - two men in their 60s, a man in his 20s and a woman in his 70s - were taken to St Vincent's hospital following the collision.However their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage.The road was closed for a time yesterday but has since reopened.
