Four Questioned In Connection With Cash In Transit Van Robbery In June

Four people remain in custody this morning, in connection with a cash in transit raid in Dublin almost three months ago.

The robbery happened on the Old County Road in Crumlin at around a quarter past 12 on the afternoon of Thursday the 3rd of June.
A man armed with a gun approached a worker transporting a cash box outside a post office and threatened him.

The gunman fled with the money and got into a Ford Focus which sped off towards the Clonard Road - no-one was injured and a car was later recovered by gardai.

Three men, two in their 20s and one in his 50s and a woman in her 20s are still being questioned this morning at various Garda Stations in the city.
