More than half of Irish workers are concerned choosing remote working would create inequality.
Of those, 38 per cent worry they'll be asked to take a pay cut and 60 per cent fear career progress will slow.
The Matrix Recruitment Workplace Equality Survey also shows 85 per cent of workers are in favour of a four-day working week.
There are also concerns that working remotely full-time, would lead to staff being forgotten about about when it comes to staff meetings.:
