The National Public Health Emergency Team says it's monitoring the Covid-19 situation in Dublin "closely", due to a recent increase in cases.
Of the 147 newly-confirmed cases recorded last night, 73 are in the capital.
The rate of community transmission of the virus in Dublin is also higher than across the rest of the country.
