Forestry workers and firefighters in Wicklow and around the country are on high alert this weekend with breezy, dry weather, increasing the risk of forest fires.
There's a Status Orange alert nationwide until Tuesday.
People being urged to be careful where they set up barbecues and campfires. There are increased concerns with the news than a number of caravan parks in Wexford and Wicklow have ignored the government’s restrictions and opened up.
