Transforming the western edge of Dublin city could see 40,000 new homes and 75,000 jobs created.
A conference is taking place today on the City Edge Project which has the potential to become one of the largest regeneration schemes in Europe.
The first steps are being taken to transform the Naas Road, Ballymount and Park West areas of the capital.
