Anne McMullan is delighted to welcome visitors back to Belfast for the International Arts Festival. The BIAF returns for our 59th edition from 6 October to 7 November with an extensive programme that gives audiences opportunities to both experience live performances again whilst also enjoying a selection of online events at home! As Northern Ireland’s largest contemporary arts festival and cornerstone of the annual cultural calendar, this year’s programme will once again feature the best in theatre, dance and music performances as well as a hybrid of talks and ideas to enjoy live and in the comfort of your own home! The 2021 edition continues to explore contemporary matters of interest to our audiences such as gender equality, multi-culturalism, representation, the climate crisis, and democracy. Anne tells us how Belfast is also delighted to have the famous Christmas Markets back for this year - It's never been a better time to enjoy that "Giant" city experience here...
