On Travel Talk today we chat to the very dapper and charasmatic General Manager of the Sonesta Simply Suites, Freddy Hansley.  I meet Freddy in his office at the newly renovated Jersey City Hotel which pretty amazing views of Manhattan.  Arriving and parking stress free at my hotel, I nestled into my spacious suite at the newly renovated  Sonesta Simply Suites.   I am very impressed with the easy check in and hassle free parking in the hotel car park.  During my stay I am planning to visit top attractions the area such as Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, Jersey City Murals and Hoboken where I will enjoyed a fantastic authentic Italian dinner at "Blue Eyes" yes you guessed it, one of Frank Sinatra's favourite spots.  Located across the Hudson River from Manhattan,  I have stunning city views of New York and here a few minutes walk I have great beer gardens and the waterfront area which I totally loved.   For great beers and casual food and amazing views and music check out - https://www.smorgasbar.com/.  

I flew to Newark Airport with Aer Lingus who have fares from €450 return 

I booked my car rental with Hertz.ie who always give great service, great rates and I usually get a nice upgrade.  My Toyota Camry was great for driving around New Jersey -  Their loyalty programme is terrific.
