The Spanish island that loves tourists (especially the Irish)
Today we are chatting to Luis Alvadaro, spokesperson on behalf of the President of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Oswaldo Betancort about some great incentives being offered to work and live in Lanzarote. Living in the Canary Islands is a collective experience of unique events, feelings, and ways of being. The word ‘unique’ will feature prominently throughout our chat today. There is a strong cultural identity and connection between Ireland and Lanzarote with over 330,000 Irish visiting this sunny island every year. Not to mention its unique to nature and timeless local traditions which all combine to provide a unique sense of belonging for Irish people who relocate there.
