The award-winning Belfast Christmas Market is back and celebrating its 20th Birthday in style.  Ed Finn chats with with Esther Haller Clarke from the Market.   With over 100 international and local traders, the festive village offers a delightful array of quality Christmas fayre, handcrafted goods, and bespoke artisan products. Set against the magnificent backdrop of Belfast City Hall, the market is an ideal destination for coach parties, day-trippers, and city shoppers alike, offering the perfect place to tick off your holiday shopping list.

Treat yourself to an exotic meat burger, sip on a warming mug of Glühwein, (Ed and Sarah loved the white Glühwein from the Moselle Valley) or indulge in Italian chocolates and speciality cheeses from around the globe. Relax at the outdoor festive food court, soak in the magical atmosphere, and watch the world go by in true Christmas spirit.

Belfast Christmas Market has something for everyone, including the little ones. Bring the children to meet Santa in his enchanting grotto, or enjoy a bird's eye view of the market from the top of the vintage helter-skelter.

The market opened on the 16th of November last at 12 noon and runs right up to Christmas.   The new train station in Belfast is world class and trains now run from Dublin every hour.  The Dublin Express Bus also provides a really comfortable service to Belfast from Dublin.

(Monday - Wednesday bars remain open until 9pm, Thursday - Saturday bars remain open until 11pm)
